  • work tenure

    (A) Most employers on our platform would require their workers to commit to a full-time job for a minimum of one full year.
After one year, the worker may choose to continue working for the employer for more years or leave, at their sole discretion.

If a worker frequently changes jobs within a few months or works for short periods or has multiple negative reports from employers, they may be termed unserious, and unreliable and face penalties, suspension, or even be banned from accessing additional jobs through our platform.

📍 All workers are required to commit for at least one full year before moving on to other job opportunities or other private life plans like marriage, schooling, starting of a business etc. If these plans are within your horizon to start up within a few months, kindly do not waste any employer's time. They would prefer workers ready to firmly commit for a minimum of "one full year or more". 📍

    All workers should hereby note:
The minimum work tenure on our platform is "one full year." Except in cases where the employer voluntarily requires shorter time periods.

    (B) INTERVIEW ETHICS: Do not "ghost" an employer after an interview or plan to deceive an employer by intending to work for just one or two months and resigning abruptly . You will be penalized for this.

During your initial interviews, if you do not like a job offer, clearly and timely inform the employer of your acceptance or rejection of their job offer, salary rates and other terms offered, so that they can consider their options immediately and know what decisions to make.
Always ensure that you communicate and clearly confirm your decision to employers on the spot or within 24 hours of attending their job interviews.

Be an ethical and professional worker, do not waste any employer's time.

It is very important to maintain a good work record and history on our platform, to continue to enjoy free access to good-paying jobs at all times.

    (C) SALARY PAYMENTS: 100% OF SALARIES ARE PAID DIRECTLY TO WORKERS.
We do not deduct any percentage or commission from workers' monthly or yearly salaries. Employers pay 100% of salaries and benefits directly into their workers' bank accounts every month.
This policy ensures complete loyalty and commitment to the employers for the agreed contract period and also ensures that workers receive the full benefits of their labour and efforts.

    (D) Employers on the other hand should note.
Minimum work tenure does not apply in cases of physical assault on workers, consistent verbal or mental abuse, untimely or unpaid salaries, human rights violations, abuses as well other negative treatments.
Controlled verbal correction or outburst is distinct from consistent verbal abuse, we are cognizant of this fact.
The employer will be suspended or banned if several workers report "confirmed " abuse, physical assault or other forms of abuse on their persons while working with you.
Our goal and drive continue to be that, employers and their workers enjoy long-term value and mutual fulfilment in their work relationships.

  • salary negotiations

✅ Employers and workers are free to further negotiate salaries listed by workers on their profiles . Salaries are open to lower or higher negotiations and might vary, based on various factors such as workers' age, experience, educational level, skillset, live-in or live-out and more..

✅ The minimum monthly salary on our platform is N60,000 for a basic secondary school certificate level domestic worker. Employers should kindly bear this in mind and manage their expectations when hiring .

    For example:
A cheaper, young worker might be unable to auto-run and manage an employer's home as efficiently as an experienced, organized, older graduate level domestic worker, home manager or a graduate nanny/tutor who might request for about N150,000- N300,000 or more monthly. Or when compared to an experienced Filipino nanny/housekeeper who might request for a monthly salary of about $1000 - $2000 USD or more.

✅ All workers are independent contractors. All work terms, contracts and agreements are negotiated and entered into, directly between workers and employers.

✅ Ensure that you request for, download and print your chosen worker's full biodata, guarantors, previous employers details, family and other information accessible on each workers' details page. Easily print and submit to a police station closest to you for enhanced background security checks. Full access is available to only premium-paid employers. (Ts & Cs apply)

    For Workers:

✅ When invited for an interview by an employer, request for the full name, address and other details of the employer.

✅ For the first meeting, meet employers at safe, public and open places or request for an initial phone interview, WhatsApp video interview, zoom or Skype video interview. This is to enable the employer to gauge and assess if they want to proceed to a physical interview with the you. It also helps the worker not to waste transportation costs if considered unsuitable from the first phone call. After the initial phone call , if suitable, the worker can then proceed to a physical interview at the employer's location.

✅ When going for physical interviews at an employer's location or homes ensure that the full address is provided to you, along with the closest landmarks to the address

✅ Share the employer's full name, address, phone numbers and other details with your family and loved ones before going for the interview

✅ You can also go along with a family member or a close friend who can wait for you "outside the employer's house" while you are being interviewed inside.

❌ Do not accept vague and incomplete addresses, or requests to come to a particular bus stop or landmarks to wait for the employer to pick you up and drive you to an undisclosed location, or send directions to you only when you get to a strange bus stop.

🚫 Exercise every caution when going for interviews. If you are uncomfortable with any employer's location, kindly reject it and insist on an open place like popular eateries, restaurants or supermarkets.

🚫 Some employers offer transport fare assistance to workers who show up for their interviews. Lots of workers borrow funds for transportation to meet up / physically attend several interviews weekly or monthly. For this reason, some employers may opt to assist and subsidize transportation costs for workers who attend their interviews. Though nndable, whether they assist or not is a voluntary gesture, not mandatory or obligatory on any employer.
